Calling all Pre-K through 5th grade families! Join us at the Lower School to help decorate our Box or Treat boxes for the upcoming Character Day Parade! Let’s get creative and have some fun together as we prepare something special for our students.

Please note: If you would like to donate candy for the event, you can start sending that in, please make sure it is nut free. We also need boxes for decorating, so if you have any, please send that in as well.

Who We Are

TCCS was established in 2011 through a partnership of Teachers College (TC), Columbia University, Manhattan Community Board 9, and the New York City Department of Education. It is a non-selective, choice PreK-8 public elementary and middle school that gives priority to families residing in Community School Districts 5 and 6.

The TCCS mission is to establish a dynamic learning environment that nourishes children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being.
