Addressing Concerns

If you should have a concern regarding your child’s performance or a specific event which occurred at school:

1. Make an appointment with your child’s teacher, as s/he has the most direct contact with your child. Beginning this year, Tuesday mornings are the designated day/time parents are able to meet with and/or contact classroom teachers. Teachers will be available from 7:55am until 8:30am, by appointment only.

2. If your concern is not resolved with the teacher, make an appointment with the parent coordinator to speak with administration.

3. If you have a question or concern related to the role of Teachers College, please contact the TCCS Liaison, Amy Hawley Alvarez at [email protected] or (212) 678-3143.

4. If you have a question or concern related to school or district policies, please call the school office and ask to speak with Ysaira Paulino, School Secretary or email at [email protected].
